Glenn Breitkreuz born and raised in central Alberta on mixed farm with 2 sisters and lots of animals but no sheep. Those came later when after completing a Biblical Studies program at Temple Bible College in Edmonton, he interned in Grande Prairie with Gordon Setterlund at Christian Fellowship Assembly. That internship became the Senior Pastor role where he has served a wonderful local church and a vibrant city since.
Glenn has loved and attended FCA churches his whole life starting in Westerose as a youth, then Wetaskiwin Full Gospel, Edmonton Gospel Temple and finally CFA.
Glenn and Sharon, their sons Russell (and Rebekah) and Brett all live in Grande Prairie where they love acreage living, and an active life of sports, fishing and camping, and every other blessing that a gracious God supplies!
After spending 32 years in public education, church community leadership roles and thinking about what Papa God had in mind for the next chapter of our 'young' lives, Lorraine and her husband Doug, moved from Fort McMurray to Morinville in 2013. Being welcomed by their new church family at The Father’s House (TFH), God had more in store for them (than they ever dreamed)!.... It was retirement but with a new definition!
The next chapter has been so exciting, bringing opportunities to mentor/support both church/school staff, be part of the church leadership team, then join the staff of the church’s Christian School as Principal, plus continuing to volunteer wherever needed. The opportunities to serve and mentor others is endless and Lorraine has recently joined the church staff, serving as the church’s Networking Volunteer Coordinator.
From Lorraine’s experiences over time, her strong belief is that the church is no different than a home - it’s a place where every person learns, grows and contributes to the church and community as God’s gifts and abilities unfold in our lives. Lorraine has proven the model works and will enable any church or organization, large or small, to thrive and grow! Her passion is to engage every person and prove that the 'happiest people are those who serve’ Jesus and others!
Tyler joined The Father’s House team in May of 2019 as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor having previously held a position in Winnipeg. Owning and operating a production company as well, Tyler has seen his call to ministry even established in his relationships and work outside of the church.
With the onset of COVID-19, he helped to bring the church into an online world and now works as Creative Arts & Young Adult Pastor. His passion for the Lord and his desire to see him glorified in his work is of the highest importance to him. He wants to see people discipled and brought along for the journey, as the team strives to use their abilities and skills to honour the church and community and make Jesus known.
Having recently welcomed a baby girl into their home, Tyler and Alyse Ferguson are happy to call The Father’s House their home.
